Download

The current version of MSG Browser is 1.6. The size of the download file is approximately 1.8 MB. If you registered older versions of MSG Browser, your registration key will work in this version as well.

Older versions of MSG Browser will still work after installing the version 1.6. Just install 1.6 in a different folder.

Download it now.

1. Download the self-extracting file and save it in an empty folder of your choice,
2. Double click the file name in Windows Explorer or My Computer. This will unpack setup files contained in the download file to the same folder.
3. Double click setup.exe to start the installation. Follow instructions displayed by the setup procedure.
4. After a successful installation click the Start button on the task bar, next select Programs and locate the group called MSG Browser.
5. Select it and a group element called MSG Browser will display. Click on it to start MSG Browser.
6. If you have a registration key for an older version, you can enter it now. Click on the Register button and enter the key. Otherwise click on the Evaluate button if you wish to try MSG Browser. When you decide to register MSG Browser, click on the How to Register button to display the registration instructions.

Microsoft provides glossaries of localization terminology in many languages covering various Windows operating systems and applications. Each language version is stored in a separate file. You must download a glossary before you can start using MSG Browser. The glossaries are freely available from the Microsoft ftp site

All of the glossaries are available in a format of self-extracting files. Download one(s) you need into separate folder(s). Next double click on a file name in Windows Explorer or My Computer. This will start the uncompress process. Follow instructions to uncompress the files compressed in the package.

Some of the glossaries files are big, over 10MB. I suggest you download and install GetRight, the software that extends the downloading ability of your web browser by supporting graceful error recovery and download resuming.
