   Usage

MSG Browser enables all the translators to easily and quickly search Microsoft glossaries. It is especially useful in a process of localizing applications running on Windows operating systems; but not only.

Each language version of a Microsoft glossary is a reach source of vocabulary. They are stored in comma or tab delimited csv files. Most of the glossary files contain thousands of entries. Each entry consists of an English term and its translation as it is implemented in an application for which a glossary file was released, plus other useful information like hot key symbols, where the term is used within an application, application name and version, and Windows version. Searching files in a text editor or MS Excel is not an option. It takes too much time and entries are difficult to analyze.

Through an user friendly interface you can browse unlimited number of glossary files. Just type in a word, select files you want to search, start browse, and after a short while the browser will display up to 250 matching entries in an easy to read format. And it works both directions, English to target language and vice versa.
